National Gallery

The National Gallery was at the end of a very long day, so we didn't get as much out of it as we should have. To be honest, we found it not particularly accessible to the general public - you would really need to have an understanding of the artists and background of the work to gain anything from the exhibits, which they didn't provide. The main exhibition at the time was on Douglas Annand, and there was a fair amount of information on him.

Having said that, there was some beautiful work on offer, and a strong Aboriginal presence. I got in trouble for using my flash, so only took a couple of photos.

One exhibition of didgeridoos.
An Aboriginal mural.
