noosa

Noosa was a bit of a bummer in that we got our first rain for the trip. After a day of beautiful sunshine and mixing with some Germans, Canadians and Poms that told us to go sshh when we were drunk, a thunderstorm fell from the sky and made us all muddy. Like Surfers' Paradise, I don't think Noosa is all it's cracked up to be - lots of these towns are very resort-like but without that local touch. Anyway, we got some rays in before the heavens opened up.

Mandy and I went shopping and came back to find Neil hard at work catching us some fish for tea.
