A site built in collaboration with ABC New Media, Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia, Emergency Management Australia, Murdoch University and ITRI.
Newsbug was built as a prototype for an emergency warning system, allowing subscribers to receive warning emails, voicemails, SMSes, automated telephone calls and faxes of natural disasters in their prescribed zones.
Under the direction of Maurice McGinley, Newsbug won the 2004 Safer Communities Awards (Combination Stream).
Kuraman Creative submitted the design of the corporate identity. Go to Newsbug.
